The Cooperative
The Agricultural Fisheries Cooperative of Etoliko "Agia Irini was established in 2008 with its headquarters in Etoliko of the Municipality of Messolonghi of the Prefecture of Aitoloakarnania and is governed by the provisions of Law No. 4673/2020. The cooperative is registered in the National Register of Agricultural Cooperatives and other collective bodies under the number AM 0701027.
The cooperative is a leaser of the fish farms Komma and Schinias of the Central Lagoon of Messolonghi until February 2033.

Infrastructure & Innovation
Fishing in the Komma and Schinias fish farms is carried out using traditional fishing gear.
The cooperative has under its responsibility 5,600m of fish barriers out of the 20,000m constructed by the cooperatives of the Central lagoon of Messolonghi on the front of the Patraikos Gulf.
